Adhesive for angle brackets is a chemical adhesive mainly composed of polyurethane (PU), specifically designed for angle bracket connection-type doors and windows, serving the functions of sealing and structural reinforcement. It is classified into two types based on its components: single-component and double-component. The single-component polyurethane adhesive for angle brackets is a moisture-curing type. Its typical physical properties include semi-transparency, rapid surface drying (surface drying time ≤ 3 hours), and no solvents. After curing, it has strong adhesion, good weather resistance, resistance to aging, resistance to chemicals, good filling performance, relatively convenient construction, and no odor. The double-component polyurethane adhesive for angle brackets is cured through the direct reaction of components A and B, without relying on environmental moisture. It has the characteristics of fast curing speed, high final strength, and high utilization rate of the adhesive.

During construction, the surface of the base material should be kept clean, dry and free of oil stains. To ensure the curing effect of the single-component angle adhesive, a certain level of humidity can be maintained at the connection area. After applying the adhesive, the bonding operation should be completed as soon as possible. For example, adjust the size and flatness within 30 minutes after the angle jointing. Before the angle adhesive is fully cured, avoid excessive force on the doors and windows and severe collisions. It is generally recommended to leave it to stand for 7 days until the strength is stable before conducting the engineering installation.
