The performance upgrade of the broken bridge aluminum doors and windows has led to a decrease in the cutting accuracy of the profiles, resulting in many fine cracks such as 45° angle fracture joints, middle pillar connection joints, and screw joints, which cannot achieve a good sealing effect through the pre-coated surface sealant process. These need to be treated with subsequent sealing processes. This article starts from the performance of two types of surface anti-seepage sealants, analyzing their applicable application processes and application characteristics.
Base surface cleaning - Use tools such as blow guns, round files or blades to thoroughly remove aluminum shavings, oil stains and debris from the surface of the profile, ensuring that the surface is clean and dry to avoid affecting the sealing quality.
Storage conditions - Store in a sealed container in a cool and dry place. The recommended temperature range is 15-25℃, and the humidity should be kept below 50%RH.
Applicable location - Mainly used for the profile section of insulated aluminum doors and windows, the connection points of the middle pillars, and the joint gaps.
Compatibility relationship - It is usually used as a complementary material for angle structure sealants, and is combined with the injection process to form a complete angle sealing system.
